Some installation application examples
Airware Solutions Australia have a variety of installation applications that will best suit your building or home and we use qualified tradespeople to effect the installation. Our company is best experienced to advise you on your exact needs. All our products are tested and comply with local and international high standards. We have the solution for bathroom ventilation, toilet ventilation, laundry ventilation, roof ventilation or whatever ventilation you need for your building or home.
Here are some installation examples below.
Standard Axial Fan Ventilation Kits
For ventilating air from inside the room, typically a bathroom, shower or laundry, to the outside of the house.
Longer Duct Run Ventilation Kit
Where duct-run lengths exceed those recommended for axial fans used in shower fan kits it is best to use a header box type fan.
Two Room Extraction System
- It is permissable to use one fan to extract from 2 areas
- It is NOT permissable to combine a kitchen vent with sanitary vent
- Parallel electrical switching of fan from both rooms required
In this example Building Code requires: laundry 20 l/s, bathroom 25 l/s, total 45 l/s (160m3/hr). N.B. These are minimum requirements.
Flow rate would be approx. 90 l/s @ 100 Pa, more than adequate to provide twice the minimum flow rate, even with the longer duct runs. The adjustable diffusers allow 'balancing' of the airflows.
Three Room Extraction System
(Components to be ordered individually)
In this example the Building Code requires: 25 l/s bathrooms (x 2) plus 20 l/s laundry, total 70 l/s (250m3/hr).
Roof Exhaust Kit
In all of the previous examples use of a roof exhaust vent is quite practical.
